I'm a little fuzzy on the distinction between a teaser trailer and just a trailer.
Looks interesting though. Different. Me too. To me a teaser should be about 30 seconds long. This is a full initial trailer in my book.

Isn't Red Sonja supposed to be, you know, a redhead? Also isn't she supposed to be a tall-ish woman? I've seen this actress in Antman and the Wasp and she seems a decent enough actress, but nothing about her convinces me she's a good fit for Red Sonja. Though at least I like her more than Rose McGowan. You know they can change hair color for movies. They do it a lot. Also, I suggest you check out some of her work on the show "Killjoys" for a better read on whether she can play Red Sonya or not.

I have it on DVD and when I watch it on widescreen using my blu-ray player I do not get black boxes on all four sides only top and bottom. So it works fine for me.

The 1933 original is miles better than everything that came after. However, the 2005 movie is very good. It has serious problems that I won't go into now but it is very good. 2005 is better than 1976. The '76 version is not bad but it could have been so much better. Most of it's problems are the result of production issues. Primarily the fact that they put all their eggs in the giant robot ape basket. They wasted tons of time and money trying to get that thing to work and when they finally gave up they had to spend a bunch of time and money remaking the sets to the scale of a man in a suit. All of this caused them to cut corners in the script and diminish the story. All this plus the annoying preachiness practically killed this movie.
