Yeah they could've made things a little more interesting. The plot was literally, "Mando tries to deliver baby Yoda to the Jedi." That's not much to work with. They had to create conflict out of that. You can almost see the writers struggling to come up with ideas. The stand alone episodes in season one were the worst. They’re like watching old reruns of Xena the Warrior Princess. Every show should wish they could be as good as old reruns of Xena Warrior Princess.
The Mandalorian is 10/10.

Chloe Zhao said the final draft was hers.
"...I am the writer on Eternals, the credits just aren't updated yet, you know, so I still don't know what it would be like if I don't write the film, that I'm not at least a huge part of the writing process. So yeah, I haven't experienced that in my career, I'm scared of that, if it does happen one day. So, you see, in the writing process, that's sort of where I bring in my sensibility, that's a huge part of it. And creating situations that will allow certain kind of cinematic language to come in... that is something that I've learned from my last three films. I think what Marvel has been incredible, that Kevin [Feige] and Nate [Moore] and the whole team, they knew from the moment I pitched the film I really wanted to, you know, the scope and the scale, at the same time, the intimacy, they knew I wanted both. And they have been so incredible holding my hand through the entire process of allowing me to go as far as possible and as small as possible, and how that fit into the whole MCU. It's been a pretty incredible process."
I hope the script is written better than this spoken paragraph.

I really don't know what this conversation is going on about. She left the island to KILL Ares. She took what she thought was the "God Killer" sword with her to KILL Ares. She thought Luddendorf was Ares when she killed him. She did not intentionally kill a human being.

One set in the world of Robert Pattinson's film and the other will remain in the DCEU. From Walter Hamada himself:
"I don't think anyone else has ever attempted this," Hamada said of DC Films' plan for bringing two different Batmen to theaters on a consistent basis. "But audiences are sophisticated enough to understand it. If we make good movies, they will go with it."

At first she didn't even think the wish was a real thing and when she found out, she had no idea that it could be undone. So they both thought it was permanent and that other guy was gone and did not exist anymore. They only found out later that the wish could be reversed.
