Annie Wilkes in Misery used a lot of euphemisms because she didn't like to use actual swear words.

Movies make it easier for disabled characters to find love. But the catch is that the disabled person has to be handsome or beautiful. IRL because of the stigma and stereotypes surrounding disabled people and dating, it's harder and it doesn't matter if the disabled person is attractive. Not saying disabled people can't have relationships, just that it takes longer.

On Deadly Ground is too preachy for me. Michael Caine, played the villain well. (Even if he does forget halfway through the film, that his character is supposed to be a Texan.)

I live in the UK, in the north of England. Pop is used here. Soft drink is used, but that's more of a southern thing.

Also love the bit near the end of the episode, where Victor is buried up to his neck in the back garden.

Women who act like blokes.
Not fussed on fake boobs. Depends if her surgeon is great
Women with a "spoilt princess" complex.
Don't mind tattoos, as long as they're small. No sleeves.
Women with a superiority complex.

Diamonds Are ForeverSuch a dull mess of a movie. Wint and Kidd and Willard Whyte were the only characters, that made Diamonds Are Forever, watchable. The theme song is great too. Horrible effects, like something from a kid's chemistry set Ken Adam, didn't do the sets for the film. And it looked cheap. Moneypenny's tasteless remark about Bond bringing back a wedding ring from Holland. A Bond girl that has a personality transplant.Starts off independent and not taking any crap, but then she turns into a ditzy bimbo, when she is captured by Blofeld. Blofeld in drag! WHY?!

The look on James Bond's face in Goldfinger, when he finds Jill Masterson painted in gold and dead. The look on. Bond's face, it's like he blames himself for her death. If he hadn't got involved, then she'd still be alive.
Connery pulled that off brilliantly!

Mine are; Walkers(Lays) Sweet Chilli Sensations Phileas Fogg bubble chips. I love the New York Relish flavour, although the smoky BBQ flavour is nice too.

One thing i don't miss about the old IMDB boards is going on a soap opera board, is that there was an annoying guy on there who'd make endless threads about actresses "bumbs" or "hooters", but not discuss anything about what happened in the episode. Went by the name of "Premmie" (and other names" and he'd have multiple convos with himself. The boards weren't moderated, which was why he was allowed to do it for so long. I agree! we had some sickos on the dance moms board who wanted to screw the girls. he was disgusting. did you ever get a dickpick in your pm box? and I also agree that the boards were just not moderated. I got the feeling there was no actual person or people dealing with the discipline on the site. they also allowed many accounts to be made using the same person and ip address [you know when you signed up you had to put an official name on the account although your poster name may be different] and that was just asking for trouble. I had made a suggestion of making an allowances for like 5 accounts under one ip address 'just in case something happened to one account' but I was being bullied by one douchebag who had no less than 15 accounts that most were not socks. they would close his current account down and he would create a new one within 10 minutes. that needed to stop. closing the boards were the best way to stop this abuse. Not even the verification system worked. You had to give your phone number to IMDB, to authenticate your account. I thought that this'd be a way to deter trolls and people who make sock accounts. sadly not.

It's a far cry from Sean's earlier films. It looks very cheap. The explosions look like something from a kid's chemistry set. Sean's performance fluctuates between bored and suave. There are good things about the film. John Barry's score is fantastic. I like the tinkling sound that occurs in most of the cues, Shirley Bassey's theme is haunting, Wint and Kidd are entertaining henchmen. I llke the quips they come out with and the inventive ways they try and kill people. Unfortunately this and Wint's love for aftershave, causes the downfall of the pair on a cruise liner. It still mystifies me why Wint and Kidd would just stuff Bond in some pipe and leave him there. Take out a gun, put it against Bond's head, pull the trigger, and then he's out like a light. Simple as that. They got a bit too cocky in thier methods. Interestingly though. They shot Shady Tree in his dressing room, but Guy Hamilton left it out of the final cut of the film. It can be seen in the deleted scenes.

Get Carter was a fantastic film as well. I'm biased because i live in the North East of England where the movie was filmed. I like spotting the familiar landmarks.

Diamonds Are Forever - A lot of people hate this Bond film, but I think it's entertaining as long as you don't take it seriously. It's a far cry from Sean's earlier films. It looks very cheap.
