Steve point is yeah but it's run by people with agenda's Yes, and the UN's agenda is too prevent another tragedy like the ne in which a group of Avengers, under Cap's command, acted recklessly without regard to civilian lives and caused the deaths of many civilians. The UN's agenda is to oversee the Avengers so that the Avengers don't get out of control, like Section 31 in Star Trek, another group that had autonomy and didn't have to answer to any higher authority or be held accountable for their actions and thus became corrupted by the unlimited power that they were given. he assumes if they agree to the accords then they give up their right to choose rather it would simply be a case of they wont be forced into an action they don't agree with but they will not be allowed to take action without permission, I think they purposely blur the line to make Cap's stance seem less childish because really it does come down to Steve going I wont sign it because I wont be told what to do And that's why MCU movies make no sense at all.Rogers claims he doesn't want to sign the Accords because he doesn't want to be told what to do or be forced into an action he doesn't agree with or not allowed to take action without permission. Then why the fuck did he join the army? Soldiers are always told what to do by their superiors and often forced into actions they don't agree with or not allowed to take action without permission. Do you think every soldier in the US Army agrees with what POTUS wants? Like the Rock often says "IT DOESN"T MATTER!" if a solider disagrees with what POTUS wants. POTUS is Commander-in-Chief and POTUS gives the orders and soldiers are supposed to follow orders. If Rogers had a problem with following legal orders, then why the fuck did he join to army? Actually, I've given the answer to that question before. Rogers joined the army because he was jealous that the other soldiers were getting attention from girls so he wanted to join the army to get attention from the girls too.

And how does this not make sense, Steve didn't have that attitude from the outset, he was initially aghast at Tony's attitude in Avengers, it's only after learning Fury was trying to replicate Hydra tech and then Hydra was revealed to be a dominant faction within SHIELD that Cap becomes disillusioned and more cynical, that is something that does actually happen to people, they commit to something because they believe in the idealised image of it they have created or been sold but when they see it for themselves, when they see the reality of things they change their opinion, happens all the fucking time, do you not get that just because you watch the films backwards that they don't make sense.
