I love those shirts and I actually think Golden State may have the best looking ones. I think Randle is a VERY solid player. I would have his shirt or even RJ Barrett's shirt. I think both players will be fun to watch this year, even if the Knicks are not a great team. 1. Yeah, the yellow Golden State t-shirt for some reason looks the best. But a red Rockets one with white jeans and red Pumas looks pretty darn good. Fashion tips I give out free. Most people dress like slobs everyday of their lives. Makes me sick. 2. Randle was thiiiiis close to being a bust. Guy turned it all around once he left LA. He's looked good for us (Marcus Morris has looked our best) and I hope to enjoy Randle. You are wrong about Barrett. He (finally) played a solid game. Still can't shoot worth a damn (last night 33% from field, 0-3 from three), but everything else he does incredibly well, especially for a rookie. Fiz had him playing a bit of point last night...6'7" point guard who can slash and cut and get to the basket with power and ease. It was impressive. By the way, what is your team? You are still clueless about Kawhi's status amongst NBA pundits, but just curious to see who you root for. I am not clueless. Once again, everyone says he is the best now, they just were not mentioning him this time last year and that is a fact. He's still a top 7-8 player in the league. Also, if you are the real marco, which I do not think you are, then you would know. Marco and I have argued for years and years. Although you may be unaware of who I am since my name is different here. I will give you a hint. I play PRS guitars and Pink Floyd is the greatest band who's ever lived.

I told you then (and now with all the time that has passed you can see that I am correct) those guitars were simply the trendy thing to buy at that time. Flavor of the month. Now you can see I was right (I always am). My guitars - Rickenbackers, Gretsch, Fenders, Gibsons - have stood the test of time for seventy plus years! And, hey, I don't remember names of users here. To be blunt, you are insignificant little play things for me. I know a few good people's names here and at the old site, but you are giving yourself too much credit thinking I remember your old user name. I remember the Piece of Real Shit guitar player and I remember I actually felt bad for him because he got ripped off and bought himself a piece of real shit guitar.

For the last 20 years or so, yeah. Twenty years? I guess you forgot these two days: February 5th 2012 and February 3rd 2008. (And that February 3rd 2008 date is particularly humiliating. 18-1 ) Gee, there have been so many Super Bowl appearances and victories, I lose track. Ah, those are two days over a twenty year stretch that the Giants and their fans were not humiliated. With pickin's that slim, I can see why you still dwell on them.

It's as relevant as a Yankee fan still chanting 1918. Maybe if we talk baseball he'll do that, too.

Les Pauls have that classic sound - Slash, Jimmy Page, Ace Frehley, etc. I prefer the SG tone though - Angus Young, Derek Trucks, Tony Iommi, etc. Note - I don’t play, just a lifelong fan of rock.

Well, the Les Paul feels the best when I play it. It just has a smooth feel to it and is easy to play, especially when you have really nice strings on it. They can have a modern crunch sound too depending on the amp you use. That is why I am not a huge fan of fenders. They sound great when you play classic rock or blues, but if you try to play metal it always lacks, even on a great amp.

Good question. Slash and Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols got the greatest tones from Les Pauls. But, yes, you are correct, it is the SG that is Gibson's best. You mention Angus, but have to remember The Doors Robby Krieger used an SG exclusively. I bought my SG because of Krieger and the band New Model Army who also used SGs exclusively. The SG tone simply has more bite, not as thick as a Les Paul.

I skipped The Passion of the Christ. I hear the book was better. Nah, the movie was better. Guy gets his ass kicked for two straight hours...and still comes out the winner! It was like a Rocky movie.

I will say that the vast majority of my favorite guitarists play Strats though - Hendrix, Vaughan, Blackmore, Gallagher, Clapton. I know DSD said Gibson gives a heavier sound and while I generally agree, Ritchie Blackmore and Rory Gallagher managed to get a pretty face-melting tone from their Strats.

That DDS guy doesn't know a thing about guitars. Strats are the most versatile guitars on Earth. From blues to funk to reggae to metal (that DDS guy had no clue that Iron Maiden used a Strat and Eddie Van Halen started on Strats), the Fender Stratocaster is the best guitar on Earth. And, yup, Krieger is a fantastic player. He never gets rated highly on any best guitarist list. I hated that Jim Morrison tool, but I loved what Krieger did on those Doors albums. I just watched APOCALYPSE NOW again and it is Krieger's notes on "The End" that open that movie and set the tone so perfectly. Krieger's playing was about feel. I can definitely understand why kids back in the '60s probably put on a Doors album and tripped out to it.

Of course that does not mean that I know more about guitars than you. Judging by your posts I probably do, but I am not an expert. I am more of a musician than a technical guy with instruments. Still, there is no way Fender Strats are the best guitars on Earth. They are so overrated. I feel that people who do not play say this because it is the typical go to for people. It is like when people tell me Hendrix is the greatest guitarist who has ever lived. I love the guy, but he's not close. It is the answer for someone who does not really know or understand the instrument. Also, you said a Rickenbacker is better than a PRS, which is a joke. Also, Dave Murray from Iron Maiden uses a Gibson dude. They are big sponsors of his. I am not sure where you get your info from. Also, EVH does use Fenders, but he has a custom and uses custom pick ups. Huge difference. Still, they are obviously great guitars, it is just very difficult to get the distortion on those that you can on a Gibson.

Not only do you buy a Piece of Real Shit guitar, but then you post such stupidity that the guy in Iron Maiden uses Gibsons. Uhh, the guy's name is Dave Murray, and guess what? He has a signature Stratocaster named after him! You can't get more Fender Strat user than that! He's been using a Strat since the very beginning. And you are not sure where I get my information from? Uhh, it's called my eyes and ears. Have you never seen a video of Iron Maiden or a picture of Dave Murray? I will sort of agree with you about Hendrix. Sure he did some cool, inventive stuff on his guitar and could write some good songs here and there, but he is not my cup of tea. He's not overrated - he deserves his praise - just that what he does on guitar is not to my liking. Everything else you wrote in your post is stupid. Just curious...have you ever played a Stratocaster? Man, they are perfect in every way. I have a dozen electric guitars - Fenders, a Gibson, Rics, Gretsches, Epiphones, even a VOX Phantom - and the best guitar I own is my Strat. And you are not a better guitarist than I am. I can play every genre. I can play every song from every genre. My rhythm playing is the best on planet Earth. I know every chord...I make up my own chords. My lead playing is fantastic because I don't do any leads. Lead playing is for dopey kids like you. "Mommy, look how many notes I can play in just four bars. None of them have anything to do with the song, but look how many notes I can play." Anybody who plays lead does not understand what music and a song is about. Music ain't about showing off your hammer-ons. Music is about the song; not jerking off on your guitar neck playing a lead.
