I have seen rise of skywalker and Disney made ... the force magic They finally nixed the much ridiculed ... midichlorian idiocy? Good for them! Under the tutelage of Disney the MCU has achieved things previously unheard of for superhero movies. A Best Picture nomination and the #1 box office record. Two of the highest accolades anyone making movies could possibly hope for. And though The Last Jedi really did sucked balls, it was still an improvement over the dreadful prequels.

It was always that. Even in the prequels. midichlorians were just a conduit to explain how one person is stronger than another. The more midichlorians you had the more you can tap into the magic.

Cause of death was electrocution through all the robot parts he has, I guess. He was fine after his fight with Luke, besides missing the cyber hand. But he was done when Palpatine's electricity back flow hit him.
Also, we have someone else here that wants to throw all time periods of the Empire at the Avengers. Can't have Vader and Palpatine along with the First Order. Doesn't make sense. It's like crying that (using the X-men vs Avengers again) Magneto was an X-man in First Class (they weren't X-men) and the future of DoFP, but also wants to use Phoenix. Might as well throw Maul and Dooku in the mix because they were Palpatine's apprentices at one point.
I just assume the time period is up to date. Which means no Vader, Iron Man, Vision, Iron Man, Black Widow and...well, Captain America's an old man but he might take down a whippersnapper or two. Nah, she said the Empire led by Palpatine and Vader. Adding in Vader makes it, at the most, the end of Return of the Jedi. She also said the end of Endgame. So all of them that came out of the portals, too. So really the only one missing is Widow.

Cause of death was electrocution he was done when Palpatine's electricity back flow hit him. Yes, I know that and you know that, but King Kong Shady never watched the movie. That's why King Kong Shady wrote: "I'm not even entirely sure what the cause of death was ... heart attack? Vader did look feeble and overweight when the helmet was removed." Yep, that stupid comment was written by King Kong Shady. I didn't make that up. King Kong Shady thought Vader looked feeble and overweight after he was electrocuted by the Emperor. I'm pretty sure most the Avengers, like Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlett Witch, Spider-Man, Falcon, and others would also look feeble and overweight if they got electrocuted. Can't have Vader and Palpatine along with the First Order. The First Order IS part of the Empire. You can't have all time periods around at the same time. The stipulations had Palpatine and Vader's Empire against the full army at the end of Endgame.

What would be the point of blowing up Earth? To get rid of some heroes?
The Emperor strikes at anyone who may have the power to oppose him. That's why the Emperor sent Stormtroopers to try to kill all the Jedi Knights in Revenge of the Sith. And the Emperor would destroy Earth simply to wipe out the Avengers and all the other heroes on Earth. Earth and most of the Avengers would be destroyed before any of the Avengers even knew what hit them. I just saw the movie... Send those ships if you want... Those ships crumbled like tissue paper. Cap could probably destroy a couple from the ground with just his shield. They didn't even have shields on them this time.

I caught the end of Endgame part, which is why I assumed no Iron Man, Vision, etc... heh, now that I'm reading my own writing I put Iron Man twice. Whoops.
If I'm the writer of this story, the winners are obviously the avengers because that's how I choose to write it.
All that came out of the portals too though? That's not the avengers. If everyone who came out of the portal is there too, it's practically the empire vs the MCU. That's definitely not what I took "can the avengers stop the galactic empire?" to mean. My strategy if I were coordinating from the empire's side didn't involve Vader or the Emperor, not for the type of strategy I would employ. If by avengers it's meant everyone who came out of a portal in Endgame, that changes the entire conversation.

They are because Cap made them Avengers when he says "Avengers... assemble" before leading a charge of everyone there. That's why I'm not understanding how the Empire can pull this off when the Avengers side has all those sorcerers. They dropped Jedi during the purge, but the Jedi were spread so thin. Imagine all those Jedi, with even more abilities and numbers, being in one place.
I also forgot Vision when I said who was missing.

That's true! I guess Cap did sort of deputize them all on the fly. Technical truth, the best kind of truth.

The Empire's warships don't have to be in Earth's atmosphere to fire. In fact, they would be much farther away from the planet so they wouldn't be hit by the explosion when they fire. Cap's shield would never reach the ships and since Cap can't fly in space, Cap would be useless against the Empire's warships, as would all of the other Avengers who can't fly in space.
The warships would just fire 1 shot at Earth from a distance and destroy Earth and most of the Avengers before the Avengers even knew what hit them.

It doesn't change anything. Most of those who came out of the portal can't fly in space so they would be useless against the Empire's warships that can destroy Earth from far away. The winners are obviously the Empire because 1 shot from an Empire warship millions of miles away would immediately destroy Earth and most of the Avengers (including those who came out of the portal) before they even knew what hit them.

Cap can't make them Avengers because Cap isn't even an Avenger. The Accords required all the Avengers to sign. Cap refused to sign the Accords and became a fugitive from the law so Cap isn't even an Avenger. And since none of those who came out of the portal signed the Accords, they're not Avengers either.

If I'm the writer of this story, the winners are obviously the avengers because that's how I choose to write it. Which is the singular correct answer to all this. The Avengers would win because they are the good guys. Everyone wants the good guys to win. The only person who would rather have the evil Empire win is dcfan, just to spite the Avengers. I just returned from seeing Rise of Skywalker*. There must be some sort of engineering directive that requires a fatal Achilles heal in all the Empire's equipment so that a disproportionately lesser force can defeat them. The Avengers would just have to exploit that weakness, long before the Empire got anywhere near the Earth. * It was ok. Much better than The Last Jedi.

Nick Fury would certainly have dispatched his more stealthy superheroes to keep tabs on the Empire's intentions Dumbass Nick Fury couldn't even stop a cat from scratching out his eye. Fury would be soo dumb to keep tabs on the Empire.

Fury would be soo dumb to keep tabs on the Empire. Unlike you, Nick Fury learns from his mistakes. You should try it some time. ... and, of course, any movie mash-up between the Star Wars Empire and the Avengers would have the Avengers win and the Earth survive. Only you would cheer on the Evil Empire and the destruction of the Earth ... because the Avengers make you butt-hurt.
