maybe this is him with Peter Lorre ? I wait all week to watch Svengoolie on Saturday night. It's my guilty pleasure. I hadn't seen this one before last night. I thought it was very good. Very unexpected turn around from the usual formula. Wasn't nearly as bloody as modern day movies that are made for dorks. This one went more for theater, credibility, and comedy.

Just realized I haven’t seen him objecting to any use of the world “clearly” in ages, and Erjen is the type of remote individual who might fall prey to medical issues without anyone knowing until it’s too late. Glad/hope the guy is still doing ok. |

That wouldn't surprise me. Yet how does one prove that a claim regarding CV is false or misleading? That seems to me to be the MO all around the world regarding the pandemic and the promotion of it.
If your claim contradicts the consensus of the medical community, it's going to be suspect. That alone doesn't make it false or misleading, but if you're going to claim you know better than people who have actual training and experience, your evidence had better be rock solid. ErJen's evidence tended to be in the form of a youtube video from a random conspiracy theorist. After a couple dozen of those, you kind of lose the benefit of the doubt.

You don't need complete agreeance to have a consensus, and trusting experts in scientific fields you're ignorant about doesn't mean you're brainwashed, it means you have a modicum of common sense.

I think common sense has been thrown out of the window the past year over this pandemic. It goes back to the original point, how does one say what is misinformation or isn't regarding covid? There are some truths to be found, but no absolutes and the MSM at the behest of self-serving governments just love to misinform people, or confuse them at the very least. I don't take it all as gospel, yet many see what they inform as the new holy word today. If the mass commodity of fear isn't being promoted, then it is taken as being inaccurate and misinformation. Erjen told a fellow poster who was very worried about his high temp and other symptoms of Covid and was waiting for his test results that he "would be alright" and then posted a video of someone being zipped into a body bag ! For that and many other reasons, I will be fine if he never returns.

What motivation would the government or MSM have to misinform people about a deadly virus? Misinformation is just going to lead to more infections and more deaths. Even with the lockdown rules, Covid is still spreading, just that it is not the death sentence made out to be in comparison to the survival rate. Covid is not the only thing to die from.
A reliable source regarding a health scare and how it has been manipulated by other institutions and agencies cannot be that reliable when there are so many flaws apparent in how it gets relayed.
