Wasn't until 3 mins remaining & they mentioned Oakland was from Rochester, Michigan... & now I have to find out where the heck that is. Most of the game I thought, oh, the city of Oakland has another historic 3 point master to root for.

I can't imagine Calipari survives this. Other Kentucky coaches have been fired with more success that he has had of late.

Horrible call on a pure block in the Kansas-Samford game. Samford was robbed.

I can't imagine Calipari survives this. Other Kentucky coaches have been fired with more success that he has had of late. They are already screaming for his head. A lot of alumni wanted him fired after 2022 and the loss to St. Peter's. A lot of alumni wanted him out after the 9-16 horror show in 2020-21. But Cal always stayed because he brought in his usual freshman class. THe thing is, and what he doesn't get is that you can't win anymore with a team of freshmen. Not with the Transfer Portal and NIL. Oakland won because they ran out a team of upperclassmen against a team of children. Granted, those children are immensely talented. There are 5-7 future NBA players and two lottery picks, Rob Dillingham and Reed Sheppard. Experience is mattering more than potential.
Calipari has a $33,000,000 buyout but that's not silly for a school like Kentucky. And Cal might want to leave soon as a huge job is still open at Michigan.

Could he go the Pitino route and move on to Louisville?

Could he go the Pitino route and move on to Louisville? I think Michigan might be the better option. B10 over ACC. And who knows what the ACC's future is with UNC, Florida State, Miami being wooed. Michigan might be a football first university where Louisville, not as much. But Michigan has a huge history and not just the Fab Five. The $64 Question would be, who replaces Cal at Kentucky?

Horrible call on a pure block in the Kansas-Samford game. Samford was robbed. It would have given Samford a real good chance of a huge upset. It was a clean as could be block.

Pac 12 had four teams advance on the first day. Washington State is a gritty team. San Diego St. just survived a tough Alabama Birmingham team to advance. They made their free throws. I like Washington St. They finished second in the Pac 12.
