You do realise in saying your are innocent of such behaviour you then admit to engaging in such behaviour right?
This whole they started it back in 2008 bullshit is just that, it's 2017 ffs, I don't give a fuck what nasty thing some DC troll back then on the IMDB boards once said to you, it's just fucking words get over it, unless they stalked you sodomised your dog and fed it to you or worse holding a grudge against an entire fanbase for so long is childish.
I know. Yeah, it started in 2008 and never stopped. A whole decade of being insulted, belittled, and accused of things such as pedophilia for being an MCU fan. And its not bullshit. The DC side DID start it (and you will never convince me otherwise). I was there. I remember very clearly being able to have civil conversations about comic book movies before the summer of Ironman and The Dark Knight. That's when the Nolanites got uppity and attacked everyone, basically. Um, these are the same nasty DC trolls from back then and they say the same horrible things to me now. "just words" Words are powerful enough to stop or start wars. Words can cause person to commit suicide or stop them from doing it. Words hold a lot more power than you're giving them credit for. Yes, I know we keep having this conversation and that I should use my block command more, but you know what? I shouldn't have to use it at all. Nor should we have to endure pointless who started "debates" over and over, or should others put up with you campaigning for them to be banned, and yes words can be powerful when speaking about important issues we are talking about CBM's for fuck sake, they are just fucking words dude get over it.
And just because from your perspective "DC" fans which you even say aren't DC fans but supposedly Nolan fanboys started it, but your perspective is not gospel, it's slanted from your own personal pov, or did the fact that you being a MCU fan seeing it that way, DC-Fan being a DC well fan seeing Marvel fans as the antagonist and me being a fan of both and recalling it being a pretty much equal shit throwing fest not show that where we stand in terms of the fandom also influences how we see things.
Obviously someone threw the first punch but really is it that guys fault that 10 years later that idiots are still fighting like this, I know it wont end but ffs stop using the they started argument as an excuse for when you act out because it makes you look like a child.

Actually, it was the Nolanites who starts the flame wars that year and it began BEFORE Iron Man. Your memory is not too strong. No, I have a strong memory. And I clearly remember that it was definitely MCU fans who started the flame wars after Iron Man was released and MCU fans started trashing The Dark Knight. Dude the phrase brain like a sieve comes to mind when I think about you, strong memory my foot.

Point taken, but even you can admit that the likes of poelzig, DennisReynolds, and Tristan Kool-Aide should have been banned a long time ago. DC-Fan, too. DC-Fan knows we're not the antagonists. Seriously, read most of the crap he posts. He's an unreliable narrator if there's ever been one. I've updated my block list since my last response. Not to include you, of course. Just saying I've added more undesirables, so hopefully that clears things up, since our Admin refuses to do anything to make these guys actually want to stay in line.

This is like the third thread is as many days that's turned into a who started it first discussion.
Even if it did start in 2008 (and it didn't) that's damn near a decade ago and was started by people that doesn't involve anyone here at all.
Move on, we're talking about movies with characters who run around in capes and tights for god's sake.

To be honest mate I cannot agree with you on those guys being banned even DC-Fan who I do bicker with imo doesn't deserve to be banned, I said before all those guys I don't see a problem with myself, same as I don't see one with you generally, it's only with the they started it stuff that I think oh come off it, other than that it's like whatever.
I agree DC-Fan has little credibility I even mocked his claim of having a great memory cause he fucker is forgetful as shit, but he isn't alone in his pov of who started the fighting, most DC fans think Marvel started the fighting, most MCU fans think DC started it, anyone like me just thinks both sides had idiots purposely trying to stir shit up because they found it funny, I just used the 3 of us as examples.
If blocking people makes the boards easier for you to enjoy go for it mate, there really is no need for you to have to endure people that only annoy you, that's why the block works because you can enjoy a board to your liking, but those guys who do annoy you don't have to be banned from the place to ensure it, because whilst they annoy the shit out of you they are amusing to others, so it's win/win basically, I dunno how to put people on block myself but thankfully the one guy who really bugs me on here is also someone I enjoy debating with, his insanity is equal parts amusing & frustrating.

Well, I still think they should be banned. They drove off Iron Panther/Wellibers and then bragged about it! Especially poelzig, who tried tracking down personal information about me in an attempt to find me and do me physical harm. That guy just needs to go to hell. I honestly think DC-Fan is one of Admin's sock accounts and he's only playing the role of the fool because its easy to stir up trouble with offensive, wild accusations. No other Admin I've ever met would tolerate topics like "Why do MCU fans hate the U.S. military?", especially after seeing how offended everyone was by it. Blocking these people does make it easier for me. I did for months. I thought I'd try lifting some of the blocks in light of getting Mods on the boards, but that doesn't seem to be working.

No, I have a strong memory. And I clearly remember that it was definitely MCU fans who started the flame wars after Iron Man was released and MCU fans started trashing The Dark Knight. Nope, it was definitely the Nolanites who started the flame war, and no message board for any film was safe, superhero or otherwise. There was no such thing as "MCU fans" back then because there was only one movie released, nobody knew what was going to come later on they just had Iron Man. Nope, it was definitely the MCU fans who started the flame war shortly after Iron Man was released. They may have just have been called Iron Man fans back then (and not MCU fans) but they're the same fandom that make up the MCU fandom today.

The fact that Nolanites hold such a woeful reputation online for roughly 6 whole years says otherwise, and the roots of their annoyance trace back to 2008 when no guaranteed blockbuster or would-be blockbuster could go without somebody saying "This movie will not top Dark Knight!" and if somebody dare criticize TDK on its own board they'd get chewed up and spat right out. If you think this is all make believe and that Nolanites were a group of classy, friendly folk who treated everybody right, you are even more out of touch with reality than originally thought. Nolanites were considered worse than Twilight fans for good reason, at least Twilight fans stuck with their own crowd and didn't spread their garbage elsewhere that wasn't related to their franchise.

Nolanites were considered worse than Twilight fans for good reason, at least Twilight fans stuck with their own crowd and didn't spread their garbage elsewhere that wasn't related to their franchise. The Nolan fanbase is an odd mixture that has almost become a religious cult. The Batman fanbase is pretty wacky to begin with what with all the "Batman can defeat Superman" nonsense. But then add in another reason for them to be "superior" (a critically acclaimed movie that made a lot of money) and it went to a whole new level. The IMDB crusade to vote down all other movies to prop up TDK was pretty infamous. And last time I looked all of Nolan's movies were at or near the top 100 of all time. Suuure....that makes sense. Take them out of the DC fan base and I think it wouldn't be bad at all. They give DC fans a bad name. I've always loved Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern and never felt any need to attack Marvel or claim that Green Lantern was superior to all other heroes. The Batman fans are the only fan base who says things like that. Goofy claims like "Iron Man is a rip off of Batman" are eye rolling. So they are both rich? Batman didn't invent that. Zorro and the Scarlet Pimpernel did it first. Batman's costume is just a rip off of Superman's with different colors and a cowl.

On the contrary I have TOTALLY called out DC-FAN for his nonsense on several occasions. He's the flip side of YOU. And you can ask Poelzig himself if he and I haven't had our differences. I don't know dakprescott-fan.
Bottom line is both sides are equally to blame for bad behavior. But when I talk to you I'm not talking about other people. I'm talking to YOU. I'll talk to them on their time, not ours.
Oh please... No, the DC side is the blame. They were the ones who started it back on the Ironman boards when it came out. Its been the DC side for years. Nope... you're not one sided at all...
