Honestly, I still cringe at the idea of the X Men in the MCU. Obviously, I'm not anti MCU- I'm very excited to see F4 in Phase 4- but I'm tired of X Men movies. I hope they let the characters rest or at least keep them separate from the other characters.

The Savage Land (GIVE ME F**KING DINOSAURS IN THE MCU ALREADY!!!) so perhaps they could introduce Sauron as a threat. And also include the conflict with the nation of Genosha. More or less, change the scenery from New York or the Pacific Northwest for once.

No wonder formersamhmd calls the movies "grounded"!

Just think of an Avengers movie where they are sizing up the situation and then "HOLY SHIT THERE'S A T-REX!!!! LOOK OUT!!!!"

X3 was San Francisco though.

Definitely the whole Savage Land story with the Dinosaurs and Mr. Sinister.
Theres been a lot of these X-men movies now and when they do eventually reboot it they'll need to do something completely different and what better way than to set the movie on a prehistoric island with T-Rex' and Sabertooth Tigers running amok.

Anything you want to see done or redone? E is for Extinction. Grant Morrison destroys half the mutant population at the hands of Professor X's unknown evil sister Cassandra Nova with the help of "wild" sentinels. Fucking awesome storyline that rattled the status quo of the X-Men sub-universe.

Right out the gate I want the X-men movies to go strange. I want them to shed the idea that mutants should be grounded and it's rare for them to look abnormal. I don't want powers that make sense and be explained with science unless that power comes from science (Weapon X). I don't care which villains or story they use as long it's not Magneto and Mystique right away. If they really want to do Mystique again, do a version of Avengers Annual #10 as a Rogue movie.

They will likely do Exiles.

I'd actually like to see the original 5 X-men. We have not gotten them together yet. Even when they all were in the same movie (X3) they weren't seen on screen together and as a team. Hell not even on the same side. I want the real Beast, the real Angel, the real Iceman. I want Cyclops as the young field leader of the team. Not as a bratty alpha male. I want to see the characters actually grow and develop. Not wait for a 10 year gap that reboots all of the "development" that supposedly happened in the previous movie. Another thing I want is for them to not open up the friggin school. Like in the previous movies. Let the X-men be the students first. Then add some more in the sequel. Save that budget...

I know i will be hated for this choice, but i would love an Inferno Storyline adapted for a movie. Inferno is one of the best written marvel literacy books. its not a cgi driven light hearted brainless comedy aka the marvel formula, to make Inferno and have it be good , you need to have the mind and discipline of Logan and Days of future past which MCU will never do. Please do you think Disney can adapt Inferno? this is a funnier joke than the jokes I hear in MCU movies.

What you said has nothing to do with X-Men.(for the most part). X-Men was factually meant to be grounded as backed up by their creators Stan Lee and Chris Claremont. this is the proof here. Claremont, the godafther of X-Men said in his own words... ''X-Men is grounded in reality''.Please feel free to start bashing Claremont or twisting his words like you tried and failed to do with Tim Miller's hatred for MCU movies. Stan Lee went for the grounded route also because he was bored with the superheroes he created and wanted to do something new. This is fact, so don't even think of lying and making shit up.See why I said you are not a fan of X-Men? it is factually impossible for a fan of X-Men to keep getting their lore so wrong. You don't want xmen to be grounded, so their movies can stop embarrassing the MCU cgi driven brainless comedy movies that no sane film artist or long time comic book reader respects or takes seriously? I cannot wait when the first MCU X-Men movie is out and gets the backlash of the Last Jedi, Last I checked MCU fans are still defending last jedi even deluding themselves that star wars always had the MCU type comedy, very thin plotted and was all cgi, comments that just infuriated the already pissed off star wars fan base ie me. You want to know why X-Men for Marvel and Batman for DC had all the best written comic book stories? they were grounded, thematic and taken every seriously with a major awareness of their surroundings. they were nothing like GOTG or Avengers movies. That is disney. That is not X-Men and that is the reason the MCU X-Men will be awful and hated upon. the only people that will like MCU X-Men will be the the dumb masses, MCU fans and children.

HA, E is for Extinction. Cassandra Nova goes nuclear, bombed 16 million mutants and placed herself as one of the greatest comic book villains of the 21st century. MCU has no good villains. MCU Disney cannot make that type of movie. it will fucking scare the minds of kids and is not marketable enough for the dumb masses, not to mention , it needs a lot of drama and major story telling. guys, see how said it is, some of you are mentioning some of the best written marvel stories like E is for Extinction and Inferno and none of these movies will ever been green lighted by Disney without having it very dumbed down to an unforgivable level. Maybe much worse than Ragnarok now stands for GOTG comedy. Just be happy with your X2s , DOFPs and Logans and hopefully New Mutants, Multiple Man and X-Force. The last true X-Men movies we will have. I loved how you said X-Men sub-universe as it showed X-Men worked better on their own and the separation form MCU always made sense. Even in the sub-universe, we still had characters like Legion, Mojo and Deadpool in a little cracked world of their own. All of these is meaningless to MCU Disney.
