CUMMINS, Peggy (Augusta Margaret-Diane Fuller) Born: 12/18/1925, Prestatyn, Denbighshire, Wales, U.K. Died: 12/29/2017, London, England, U.K. Wonderful actress. 'Gun Crazy' (1950) is one of my favourite film noirs. 'Night Of The Demon' (1957) is one of my favourite horror movies. Last movie I saw Peggy Cummins in was the Bob Monkhouse vehicle, 'Dentist In The Chair' (1960), which turned out to be her penultimate motion picture. Ms. Cummins is fondly remembered in 'The Guardian' : Peggy Cummins (1925 - 2017)

.sfgate.comDave Toschi, a dapper cop who became the lead San Francisco police investigator for the Zodiac serial-killer case in the late 1960s and ’70s, has died at the age of 86. His penchant for bow ties, snappy trench coats and the quick-draw holster for his .38-caliber pistol drew the attention of Steve McQueen, who patterned his character in the 1968 movie “Bullitt” after Toschi. Clint Eastwood’s “Dirty Harry” character was also partially inspired by him.

British TV writer David Fisher
David Fisher has died at the age of 88.
David Fisher wrote three Doctor Who stories all starring the Fourth Doctor Tom Baker.
His first contribution to the series came in 1978 when he wrote two stories in the Key to Time season. The first, The Stones of Blood, was a Hammeresque story featuring blood eating rocks. It won praise for its depiction of strong female characters, especially that of Professor Rumford played by Beatrix Lehmann. He wrote the following story The Androids of Tara, a story inspired by the Anthony Hope novel The Prisoner of Zenda. In 1979 he returned to the series with the story The Creature from the Pit. He was also working on a story for this series called A Gamble with Time, but for personal reasons had to relinquish the story and hand it on to Script editor Douglas Adams to finish what became the widely acclaimed story City of Death. His final contribution was for the season eighteen opener The Leisure Hive.
David Fisher's other work for television has included writing for Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense, Hammer House of Horror, The Mackinnons, General Hospital, Crown Court, Sutherland's Law, The Lotus Eaters, Crime of Passion, The Troubleshooters, Dixon of Dock Green, This Man Craig and Orlando
David Fisher was born 29th April 1929. He died on the 10th January 2018.

Um...excuse my nitpicking, but if she really lived to be 90, the dates given do not reflect that. 1933-2017 = 84, not 90. So...which is correct? The reported dates, or the reported age? Thanks for any info you can give--I really appreciate your going to the trouble of collecting these pictures and the texts accompanying them.

ellynmacg and all others offcourse Greta Thyssen, not gonna blame anyone, IMDB says birthyear 1933, but Wikipedia says 1927, and when IMDB in their newsflashes actually wrote that she was 90y/o when she passed away apparently disregarded their own sources. As she was a former Miss Denmark it's strange that the Danish Wikipedia doesn't even mention her. The very little village where Greta Thyssen was born...
