Burr, it's cold in here, must be some clovers in the atmosphere...
Apparently I've been sleeping on The Stepfather 2. I also never did the sequels to Pumpkinhead or Puppet Master (sans the Nazi one randomly written by S Craig Zahler)

I also never did the sequels to Pumpkinhead or Puppet Master (sans the Nazi one randomly written by S Craig Zahler) Puppet Master II and Puppet Master III are worth watching. Both are better than the original imo. |

The Zohler one is my least favorite of all the Puppet Master movies I have seen. Kind of hated it. True, I think III is usually seen as the best. I would agree. Richard Lynch steals the film. I think II is also seen on the level, if not better than the original. One thing I do prefer in 1 & 2, is that despite the dolls are being controlled, they’re malevolent. Part 5 was probably the last one with a decent budget, and good fx.. I guess until puppet master the littlest reich was made. Usually after Part 5 is where I’ve seen people say “venture beyond if you dare”. |

I guess until puppet master the littlest reich was made. Usually after Part 5 is where I’ve seen people say “venture beyond if you dare”. I don't care all that much for any of them, but the first 3 are alright. After that they start wearing thin rather than being terrible. The only one I have seen that I really dislike is The Littlest Reich. That movie just left a bad taste in my mouth and missed the bad movie charm of even something like Retro Puppet Master. I also dislike the design change of the puppets. The personality is missing. |
