I do like the Halloween theatrical cut better. As for the sequel. I like elements of both. I think I would give the directors cut the edge until it reaches the climax/ending, where I really prefer the theatrical cut. |

I mean, he is already a completely different character from the originals by this point but it's when he speaks and then just gets shot to death rather quickly that throws me off the most. And I used to think Laurie's ending in the theatrical made tons more sense, but I think with her dying and *then* being in an asylum room in the DC it can be interpreted in some way. |

The director's cut of Halloween II would boost it to a 4. I hate any version of his first remake.
